Topper        DOB: 5/28/13

IMG_3835_edited.jpg

Topper also comes from Banks Miniature Horse Farm in Clayton, North Carolina. He was the first to pass the Pet Partners Therapy evaluation. We brought him home on September 11th, 2013 so he was just weaned when we left North Carolina. Topper is magical in a room of people. He is so loveable. He is like a giant stuffed animal. He loves to snuggle as we drive in our "Whinny Van."

Banks Justa Halfpint "Topper" is a sorrel and white tobiano pinto colt with two bright blue eyes.

He was born on May 28, 2013.

Sire: "Happy Times Apaches Just a Showoff" 29 inches

Dam: "Nostalgia's Money Down" 33 inches

Topper should mature at around 28 inches

Topper is the old boy at Honey Girl Farm now. It is hard to believe that it was 7 years ago that we brought him home. He continues to do therapy work but mostly bosses the other horses around. He is a sweet, colorful boy.

Timber        DOB: 6/9/14

Timber is one special boy. He was only 13 inches tall when he was born. His breeders were Pat and Dan Lockwood of Valley Tiny Treasures Miniature Horses. He was so small that he was having trouble nursing so my friend Jeanne Murphy came to the rescue with colostrum. Amanda, Pat's granddaughter played with and carried Timber around like a puppy. One of his playmates was actually a small terrier. When I first met him, I fell in love. I wasn't sure if the breeders were going to part with him but they did! Amanda continues to volunteer with Sweet Manes and Timber still loves her company. At first he thought he could ride on the seats of the mini van but soon learned he had grown too big for that! He is kind, sweet, and attentive to those we visit. He is super wooly all winter long but cleans up nicely for visiting season. He has that heart shaped nose and you can't help but falling in love with him.

Finnegan      DOB: 2018

The youngest member of our therapy herd-Finnegan is a lover. He picked me out at MRB Mystic Miniatures. He followed me around the pasture and I ended up bringing him home instead of the horse I had picked out originally.  He is as sweet and gentle as can be. He has a fine build and will make a wonderful therapy horse. He comes to you to get his halter on and walks with ease on a lead rope. The farrier doesn't even tie him up to trim his hooves!
