Summer just seems to be flying by! We have been in two parades now! The Manitou Days Pet Parade and the Marine on the St. Croix Fourth of July Parade. It is so fun to be in a parade and watch the smiles as the horses walk by. People are amazed at how small they are. We did the Ponies on the Patio at the Woodbury Library. The attendance was fabulous so we are doing another event this fall. We have several facilities that we will be visiting in August -Boutwell Landing, Grace Homes, Chandler, and Edgewood.

Today we did something a little different...we were in the Washington County Fair Miniature Horse Show! What fun AND lots of work!! Topper placed in Yearling Halter. Major placed in 2 Year Old Halter. AND Major placed in Colors. I knew NOTHING about showing horses but boy did I learn alot today. Kizz also jumped...he wasn't quite in the mood for that today. Major and Topper also did Halter Obstacle and Topper placed in that as well. Thanks to Maya, Ellie, Bella, Faith, and Amanda for doing some of the showing. I did obstacle and halter with Topper. Boy, you need to be in shape to keep running around the show ring. I will be working on my own fitness as well as teaching my boys how to do more of the tricks to be big winners!! We got a paycheck from our winnings...woo hoo!
